Get Your Free Assessment
To help you achieve your health goals, we offer a free assessment of your nutrition and fitness levels. We can then customize a weight loss plan tailored to your individual needs, aspirations, and lifestyle. Our experienced weight loss physicians attend to every patient, providing guidance and support at every step along the way.
One of the methods we utilize to help develop your treatment plan is to measure your body mass index (BMI). By comparing your height, weight, gender, and age, we can estimate the approximate percentage of fat your body contains. The typical BMI range for a healthy adult is between 18.5 and 22.9. BMI values do not apply to certain individuals, such as pregnant women, athletes with muscular builds, and children. For your convenience, we have included a BMI calculator below.
What does your BMI mean?
|BMI < 20||under weight|
|BMI 20-24.9||healthy weight|
|BMI 25-29.9||over weight|
|BMI 35-39.9||severe obesity|
|BMI 40-49.9||morbid obesity|
|BMI > 50||super morbid obesity|
